It may not ordinarily be seen as the sexiest game in the realm of gambling, but keno has millions of zealous players. And so it should! It’s a routinely thrilling lotto-style game that’s uncomplicated to learn, abundantly available in tons of different variations, and one that will return millions of dollars for gamblers who master its heaps of subtle nuances. But let’s deal with the basic facts here.

When explaining keno to newbies, some betting masters compare it to bingo. This is at least to some extent apt, in that each game is essentially numerical. Once you’ve marked your numbers, take your card back to the girl at the keno booth. The keno pit manager will record those numbers and then hand you a receipt. Do not misplace this (potentially) lucrative bit of paper! Even if the keno pit manager remembers you and wants help out, without a winning ticket with you, you will win exactly $.00 for your efforts.

Now there you have strategy number one: always be sure to keep your keno receipt. Let us move to something a tiny bit more advanced, yes?

Once you’ve marked your numbers, get into a comfortable keno booth and watch the action take place on the keno monitor. This is where the winning numbers are shown for us. If you marked winners, mark your card accordingly. Be sure not to dally, or sit there congratulating yourself for an obnoxious length of time. You are required to get back to the keno stand to get your winnings, and then a new round of keno will certainly begin within five minutes.

Strategy number two: always make it back to the keno booth on time!

Since you can’t trust yourself to make that five-minute margin every time, you always retain the option of using a "multi-race" ticket. These include the same set of your chosen numbers on anywhere from 2 to twenty slips. When the max number of keno games (fitting the number of tickets) is played out, you may then get off your numb rump and go get your winnings.

Yet another alternative is referred to as a "stray and play" keno card, which normally lets you make number picks for thirty rounds or more. Golly, you can take vacation to France and not have to worry about getting back in time to retrieve your numbers. Most "stray and play" slips are good for up to a whole year after it’s purchased!

So now you have learned a couple indispensable techniques for winning keno. If you are an accomplished gambler, they may appear to be stupidly obvious. Still, it will never hurt to study up on the basic techniques, and if you are a newbie player, every little bit of advice will help make your keno experience more captivating.
